Mr. Larry James Rodgers' Obituary
Larry James Rodgers, 64, of Naples, Florida and formerly of Camp Hill, died on Friday, October 28, 2016 in Naples Community Hospital. He was born February 13, 1952 in Fort Riley, KS, a son of Josephine Gocher Sneed and the late Henry Donald Rodgers.
Larry was the owner/operator of Rodgers Amplifier of Naples. He was a very meticulous electronics technician, who did work for music legend Neil Young. Larry also enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music, and bicycling.
Surviving are his mother, Josephine Gocher Sneed of Naples, FL; 1 daughter, Ashley Rodgers Oliver of Lafayette, AL; 2 grandchildren; 1 brother, Raymond (Debbie Guilfoil) Rodgers of Lake Placid, FL; 2 sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Rodgers Lewandowski of Mesquite, NV and Linda Rodgers Wynn of Tucson, AZ. Also surviving are 4 nieces and nephews.
A visitation and service will be held at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home in Bonita Springs, FL on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. The family will also receive friends locally on Sunday, November 6, 2016, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at Langley Funeral Home with a Graveside Service following at 3:00 P.M. at the Camp Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Camp Hill Perpetual Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 217, Camp Hill, AL 36850 or the American Cancer Society.
