Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Larry C. Smith, 69, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama will be Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Larry passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at his residence. He was born on April 23, 1953 in Alabama. Larry was the Owner and Operator of Larry’s General Merchandise for 24 years and loved taking care of his customers/friends. He loved spending time with his wife and his grandchildren. Larry also had a special love for his dogs and taking rides on his property to sit and watch wildlife. He also enjoyed fishing and taking boat rides on Lake Martin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Peggy Smith; sons, Russell Clark and Roger Clark (Marie); grandchildren, Jesse Clark (Elle), Britney Gunn (Brian), Dylan Clark, Justin Clark, and Sabrina Clark (Alex); and niece, Amanda Wesson (Ryan).
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Dan Smith; and brothers, Danny Smith, Sydney Smith, and Paul Smith.
