Mr Leroy Laddie's Obituary
Mr. Leroy Laddie, 76, of Dadeville, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Russell Medical. He was born on February 13, 1946 in Alexander City, Alabama to Kenneth Earl Laddie and Arlene Moncus Laddie. Leroy loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He proudly served his Country in the US Navy and the Alabama Army National Guard. He was a truck driver for 50+ years. He was happiest when he was on the river. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominos and making up songs.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Laddie of Dadeville; sons, Kevin Laddie (Kelly) of Maylene and Keith Laddie (Koki) of Vincent; daughters, Kim Mays (John) of Shelby, Deana Ray of Alabaster and Pamela McCollum (Parish) of Alabaster; bonus son, Michael Rosser; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Pam Frangopoolos (DJ) of Chipley, FL and Janet Prickett of Sylacauga; a host of nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Eddie Cummings (Connie).
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Manuel Laddie; and sister, Pat Cotton.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
