Marilyn Sue Brand's Obituary
Graveside service for Mrs. Marilyn Sue Brand, 78, of Dadeville, will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brand passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on November 30, 1935 in Richland, Missouri to Howard Jones and Bonnie E. Watt Lupkin. She enjoyed eating out, getting her hair done, going to Wal-Mart, listening to Elvis music, and watching horror movies. Mrs. Brand loved her family and grandchildren most of all.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina Williams (Willie), Tonya Purvis (Craig), Donna Baker (Roy), all of Dadeville; sons, James Brand (Chasity) of Pine Mountain, GA, and Darrell Shelton (Angela) of Opelika; Thirteen Grandchildren; Eleven Great Grandchildren; sisters, Sandra K. Roberson and Mable Lee Jones; and brother, Freddie Joe Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brand; her parents; great-granddaughter, Kelly Kay Peterson; and grandsons, David Shelton and Daniel Baker.
