Your dad was a special person and will be missed by so many! I had unfortunately not seen him since I moved to Florida but I have good memories of him from childhood on. He was my neighbor when I was very young, then coached the teams I cheered for in jr. high. He of course ran the rec center & I remember how excited all us kids who hung out there were when he & your mom fell in love right before our eyes & then got married. Both of your parents were great people & well-loved by everyone!! Allen will certainly be missed by all of Dadeville!!

So sorry for the loss of Coach A.T.
He was a super high school football and basketball coach, and great motivator of young men. I enjoyed playing for him at Pike County (Brundidge), and working for him in the summers of 1960 and ‘61.
Several of his former players enjoyed lunches with him (and “Miss Joyce”) in recent pre-COVID-19 years.
He will be missed by his former players,
many friends and family.
