Mrs. Martha Kassolyne Wilkerson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Martha Kassolyne Wilkerson, 78, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. David Waldrop and Bro. Jimmy Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilkerson passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Dadeville Healthcare Center. She was born on May 28, 1939 in Randolph County, Alabama to Hoyt Leo Benefield and Martha Lena Benefield. Mrs. Wilkerson loved growing flowers, family gatherings, and picnics. The trip she and her husband, Robert took to Maui, Hawaii was the “Light of her Life.”
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Wilkerson; sons, Robert L. Wilkerson (Cherry), Edward L. Wilkerson (Debra), Kenneth D. Wilkerson (Debbie); grandchildren, Scott Wilkerson (Christie), Robin Goodman (Jim), Ashley Williams (DJ), Casey Watkins (Ashley), Candice Bowen (Ken), Jennifer Shows (Chris), Nicholas Watkins, Jacob Wilkerson, Haley Wilkerson, Katrina Reyes (Nick), Shelley Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Andrew Wilkerson, Leo Wilkerson, Kaitlyn Goodman, Evan Goodman, Gracie Williams, Trent Williams, Courtney Patterson; sisters, Joann Hooper (Dave), Janice Kendrick (Fred), Tibethia Smith (Jimmy); brother, Walter Benefield (Carol); and granddaughter-in-law, Denise Wilkerson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Juanese Watkins; son, James Randall Wilkerson; grandson, Chris Wilkerson; brother, Gay Benefield; and sister-in-law, Glenda Benefield.
