Betty was born into a prestigious family with many talents and gifts! She was a beautiful brunette with hazel eyes and a lovely figure! She was intelligent, well read, and could converse on any subject! She was a natural actress and could have been our “Shirley MacLaine” had she gone on to pursue theatrical ventures in New York City! She was a superb dancer and could preform ballet, tap, and modern dance! She was also somewhat of a gymnast, having been a cheerleader from Junior High thru Senior High, and could stand on her head, do flips, cart wheels, and splits perfectly! She was voted most popular by her peers in her senior year of 1961! She was a continuous member of the Beta club, student council, annual staff, and Tiger Rag!! Betty went to Auburn University and graduated Magna Cum laude! She then got a job with DHR in Dadeville and worked there for many years! I am sure she did an impressive job there!
Perhaps Betty’s most important job was that of being a Mother to her twin boys Jeffrey and Jonathan! To her credit ; she went the second and third mile for them all of her life as their mother! Betty loved them fiercely!!
Betty has now been translated into a much better reality where there is peace! Rest In Peace dear Betty!
