Mrs. Mary Nell Johnson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Nell Johnson, 65, of Camp Hill, Alabama, will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1957 in Rowan County, North Carolina to Charles Walker and Lottie Jenell Phillips Jones. Mrs. Johnson loved her family, especially her grandchildren which she was affectionally known as “Me Me”. She was a Corrections Officer with the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department for nine years was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed growing flowers in her yard and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John R. Johnson, Sr.; daughter, Amanda Sue Price Heath (Robby); stepdaughter, Melinda M. Whitehead (Rick); son, Joey Charles Price (Erica); stepsons, Robert Johnson and Michael Johnson (Joann); grandchildren, Joey C. Price, Jr., Daiquiri Price Richardson, Chelsea Price, Brianna Darlene Heath, Austin Lee Heath, Tiffany Sorensen, Ramsey Haggerty, Jamie Johnson, Samantha Roberge; four great grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte Jones Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sue Jones.
