Memorial Service for Mrs. Mary Yarbrough, 81, of Jacksons Gap, will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Allen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 9:45 am to 10:45am at Langley Funeral Home.
Mary Eva Berry Yarbrough was born on April 1, 1943 and passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at her home. She was a member of Jackson's Gap Baptist Church. Mary lived her life as an honest and independent woman. She may not have agreed with what you were saying, but it never swayed her love for you. During her life, Mary sold Avon Cosmetics, taught ceramics, and served 25 years as the Circuit Clerk for the Dadeville City Court. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, cooking, and baking. Mary was known for her "green thumb" and she could often be found in the yard tending to her various plants and flowers. Nothing brought her greater joy than her family, especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her, "MeMaw."
Mary is survived by her sons, Randy (Krista) Yarbrough, Ricky Yarbrough, Greg (Stephanie) Hill; grandchildren, Caleb (Bailey) Yarbrough, Cameron (Bri) Hall, Isabel Yarbrough,Reese Yarbrough, Morgan Hill; great-grandchildren, Asher Hall, Magnolia Yarbrough; brothers, Howell M. Berry, Mike Bass; and sisters, Sarah (Herb) Starzer, Judy (Manuel) Norrell.
