Maude D. Iacobella's Obituary
Maude D. Iacobella, 95, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her residence. She was born on December 22, 1925 in Wayne, West Virginia to Rueben Dyer and Virginia Clark Dyer. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Maude was a “Rosie the Riveter” building B-29 Bombers from 1942-1943, a Coal Miner in West Virginia, and in her later years was Secretary for Navarre Beach Realty in Navarre, Florida. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Dadeville First Baptist Church. Maude loved to travel and really enjoyed her trips to Israel, British Columbia, and Hawaii. She was also a caregiver to her parents for 17 years. Maude loved family activities, being outdoors, and sitting around campfires.
She is survived by her son, Larry J. Iacobella (Nancy) of Jacksons Gap, Alabama; granddaughter, Lori Elisabeth Turczynski (Turk) of Fort Walton, Florida; grandsons, William Jason Iacobella of Dadeville, Alabama and Erron Scott Iacobella of Navarre, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mabel Musiel, Ada Osburn, Ocie Bradshaw, and Gladys Crum; and brothers, Doyle Dyer, Boyd Dyer, and Rueben Dyer, Jr.
Maude loved to help “Loaves And Fishes” food bank. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dadeville First Baptist Church, PO Box 308, Dadeville, Alabama 36853 designated for "Loaves And Fishes".
