Mrs. Melissa Walker Harris' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Melissa Walker Harris, 68, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Horton will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Concord Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harris passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Lake Martin Community Hospital. She was born on January 14, 1954, in Dadeville, Alabama to Pelmer Harry and Helen Harry McKee.
Melissa loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed being at home but also enjoyed talking to others and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her daughter, Ginny Lynn Rodriguez (Victor); son, Jeffery Owen Walker (Dianna); grandchildren, Danny W. Walker, Luke L. Walker, Victor J. Rodriguez, Jaime R. Rodriguez, Christian M. Rodriguez, Jasmyne R. Rodriguez, Jaelyn A. Rodriguez, Iris G. Rodriguez; brother, Mike Harry (Janette); sister, Maria McKee and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Danny Wayne Walker and brother, Mickey Harry.
