Mrs. Mildred Hodges Cook Marsh's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Mildred Hodges Cook Marsh, 86, of Camp Hill, Alabama, will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Craig Guy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Marsh passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 14, 1931 in Cuthbert, Georgia to Ovie Charles Hodges and Lula Bowen Hodges. She was an active member of Sandy Creek Baptist and dearly loved her Church. She was an excellent cook and canner. Mrs. March loved her family and always put them first in everything. She was a homemaker and beautician and owned and operated Back Porch Beauty Shop. She was a loving, gentle, soul with a heart of gold.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Alton Marsh of Camp Hill; her sons, Mike Cook (Pam) of Jacksons Gap and David Cook (Cathy) of Dadeville; step-daughter, Patrice Riley (Larry) of Pine Mountain, GA; step son, Mike Marsh of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Jeff Cook and Bengie Cook.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 813, Camp Hill, AL 36850 or to Lake Martin Hospice, 201 Mariarden Road Dadeville, AL 36853.
