It is a special, gentle, and genuinely loving man who accepts others as warmly into his life as Papa Al did. The care he gave alongside Mama Billie to my mother when I was a child are etched into my earliest memories, and I can never say thank you enough. You were one of my favorite uncles. I became an AU fan because of my love for you, Papa Al, and every time I see our colors, I will think of you and your legacy. Love you with all my heart, ~Katherine
Al was a very good man and was well liked by everyone.
I love this man so much, he was my stepfather and he loved us from beginning to end without question. He was the most loving caring man I've ever known and It's an honor to have have been a part of his life.
