Mrs. Jewell Fuller Harris' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Jewell Fuller Harris, 92, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harris passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her home. She was born on October 13, 1930 in Camp Hill, Alabama to Luther Gilden Fuller and Jimmie Lee Gregory Fuller. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Harris looked forward to Thanksgiving every year so she could spend time with her family and friends. She never forgot to send her family and friends a birthday card. Mrs. Harris volunteered at Lake Martin Community Hospital and gift shop for many years as well as a hospice volunteer. She enjoyed reading, writing, gardening, singing, cooking, sewing, making crafts, and quilting.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Langley Harrelson; sons, William M. Langley (Sandy) and Mike Langley; grandchildren, Shane Littleton, Victoria Littleton, Melissa Lipsey (Paul), Jeremy Langley (Ashley), Faith Malloy (Eric), Roberta Pullen (Hugh), Janie Burns, Terri Peters (Brett), Will Harrelson (Bianca) and Myka Hammock; eighteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; sisters in law, Martha N. Fuller and Eddie Ruth Fuller; special friends, Beatrice Rowe, Lily Mae Greer and Margaret Aldridge; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvell "Mutt" Lee Harris; daughter, Brenda Littleton; parents; brothers, Hugh Dean Fuller, Sr., Charlie Fuller, Rev. Donald K. Fuller, Sr. and Rev. Fred Fuller; daughter in law, Kathy Langley; son in law, Victor G. Littleton; and sisters in law, Betty Fuller and Edith Fuller.
