Mrs. Mary Louise Boothe's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Louise Boothe, 85, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2:30 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Rod Siggers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mary passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. She was born on July 4, 1938 in Buttston, Alabama to Manuel Kenney and Mary Kathleen Haynes Kenney. She loved her family dearly and was known as "Grams" to her grandchildren. Mary was full of life and she enjoyed visiting her friends, sewing, dancing, fishing, going to the casino, and watching Alabama Football.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George Albert Boothe, Jr.; sons, Robert Albert Boothe, Sr., Michael Douglas Boothe (Kathy), George Albert Boothe, III (Katy), James Greenwood; daughters, Sharon Kaye Kepple (Gary) and Mary Diane Sweeney (Darrin); stepson, Eric Gore (Anne); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kathleen Roberts; father, Manuel Kenney; and brother, Lucian Roberts.
