Mrs. Nadine Harrelson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Nadine Harrelson, 78, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the New Concord Baptist Church. Rev. Lenny Arnold will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Concord Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at New Concord Baptist Church.
Mrs. Harrelson passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Dadeville Healthcare Center. She was born on October 3, 1943, in Tallapoosa County to William Hubert Brooks and Pearline Patterson Brooks. She was an active member of New Concord Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved to care for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was an avid fan of the University of Alabama. She loved to cook and was most known for her homemade chicken dumplings, chicken dressing, and red velvet cakes.
She is survived by her soul mate, James Giles of Jacksons Gap; daughters, Teresa Walker (Bill) of Dadeville, Tracy Mitchell (Elver) of Jacksons Gap, Tonya Phillips (Wesley) of New Site; grandchildren, Stephanie Spraggins (Brandon Glaze), Jeremy Harrelson (Rita), Jennifer Reeder (Justin), Brian Walker (Amber), Jessalyn Chaney (Matt), Carey Mitchell (Emily), Justin Phillips, and Kaylee Phillips; 16 great- grandchildren; sister, Kay Teel (Mike) of Valley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Harrelson; former husband, Jimmy Wayne Harrelson; sister, Rita Giles; and brother-in-law, Bob Giles.
