Mr. Hunt passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 4, 1973 in Opelika, Alabama to Charles Hunt and Virginia Hunt. He was a member of Camp Hill Baptist Church. He loved working with the children of his hometown, as well as his own, in helping them learn the fundamentals of baseball and watching them reach their full potential. He could have pursued a career in professional baseball but chose to raise his family in Dadeville.
Paul received a degree in Sports Management from Faulkner University and after serving Tallapoosa and Talladega Counties in the capacity of Director of the Recreation Dept. He later received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Jones School of Law, all the while working a full time job and raising his family. This was his passion in life, all of it, but his children were his life from beginning to end.
He is survived by his children Laken Ann Hunt, Landon Hunt, and Logan Hunt all of Dadeville; his parents, Charles and Virginia Hunt of Dadeville; brother, Tim Hunt (Sherry) of Dadeville; sisters, Rhonda Hunt, Teresa Bell, and Noni Payne all of Nashville, TN; brother, Terry Talley of Opelika; niece, Taylor Howard (Josh) of Lafayette; nephew, Chance Hunt (Sara) of Dadeville; and several cousins and close friends.
