Mr. Paul Wendell "Buddy" O'Neal's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Paul Wendell "Buddy" O'Neal, 76, of Dadeville, will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Miles Crouch will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. O'Neal passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Russell Medical. He was born on January 19, 1943 in Dadeville, Alabama to Paul Harvey O'Neal and Ada Bell Bolt O'Neal. Mr. Buddy worked for Russell Corporation for over 45 years. He was a people person and enjoyed being around and helping others. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed fishing and loved a cup of black coffee.
He is survived by his sister, Jean Mangram of Alexander City; brother, Edgar O'Neal of Alexander City; nieces and nephews, Michelle Mangram, Andrew D. Mangram, Barry Pitts, Sharon Goodman, Rhonda Alford, Teresa Smith, Jimmy Wayne Ray, Debbie Strong, Keith O'Neal, Jerry Lankford, Donna Ann Smith, Ronnie Pitts and Roger Pitts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold O'Neal and Larry O'Neal; sisters, Geneva Pitts, Frances Ray, Betty Lankford and Ruby O'Neal; nieces, Gail Mooney and Peggy Pitts; and nephew, Kerry Pitts.
