Memorial Service for Mr. Paul Vinton Rush, 68, of Dadeville, will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 5:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Rogers Lewis and Rev. Donald Mehearg will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm.
Mr. Rush passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 Lake Martin Community Hospital. He was born on June 5, 1947 in Ft. Payne, Alabama to John Allman Rush and Trallis Fuller Rush. He was an avid Alabama fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Rush worked as an appliance/electronics salesperson for Alabama Power Company for almost 20 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Dadeville.
He is survived by his wife, Celia P. Rush of Dadeville; daughter, Tracy Williams of Valley; sons, Kevin Rush, Ashley Rush, and Blake A. Rush all of Dadeville; grandchildren, Haylee Williams, Michael Williams, and Hannah Rush; aunt, Wynema Sprayberry of Alexander City; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
