I remember going to church with my granny & pa , Doyle & Gladys Davis when we'd visit from Pennsylvania . Hearing her play the piano & singing our hearts out . Best memories ever . I remember as a teen Peggy would come by and Lisa and I up for youth group at New Prospect. She and I also song alto together with Belinda and Harlon the song I thank God for the Lighthouse for a church service. I think of her often playing the piano. My prayers are with her family. May comfort and peace be yours in the coming days.
Ms Peggy was one of the first people I met at New Prospect when I arrived on that first Sonday as Pastor. Her warm smile and accepting personality was comforting. Faye, I just saw this. I don't know why it took me so long to see it. I am so very sorry. Peggy was very a wonderful lady and someone I will never forget. She was so gracious to let me sleep on her couch when we made our infamous two day run to Alabama from CT. And how shocked she was in NYC at the nudie bars across from the Greyhoud station when we picked her up when she came up to visit! LOL! I have many fun memories of her. You were blessed to have such a great mom. Again -- I am so very, very sorry!
