Mr. Phillip Harry Klesius' Obituary
Memorial Service for Dr. Phillip Harry Klesius, 79, of Auburn, will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:15 am at the Auburn United Methodist Church Founders Chapel. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am.
Dr. Klesius was born in Bryn Marr, Pennsylvania on March 1, 1938 and passed away on January 11, 2018 in Dadeville, Alabama. He arrived in Auburn in 1973 to work with the USDA until his retirement in 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patty Klesius of Auburn; sons, Stephen (Elaine) Klesius of Ashville, NC and Patrick Klesius of New York, NY; grandsons, Henry Klesius and Lyle Klesius; brothers, Steve (Janell) Klesius of Tampa, FL and Gary (Chris) Klesius of Dunedin, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
