R.C. Grant's Obituary
Graveside Service for R.C. "Pete" Grant, 67, of Dadeville, Alabama will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Henderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Grant passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at East Alabama Medical Center. He was born on August 23, 1951 in Dadeville, Alabama to Joseph "Billy" Harold Grant and Voncille Hornsby Grant. R.C. was a very uplifting person that encouraged & prayed for many in spite of his own health issues. He loved his family and his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed cooking, telling stories and Alabama football.
He is survived by his uncles, Fred Grant (Judy), Jack Allen Hornsby and Roy Hornsby; aunt, Martha Jean Hornsby Forbus (Raymond); cousins, Joe Smith (Missy) and Ann Hornsby Jones (Gerald); special friend, Harold Campbell and many other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
