Mr. Robert L. McKelvey's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Robert L. McKelvey, 51, of Dadeville, will be Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Eagle Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Harold Cummings and Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eagle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. McKelvey passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at his residence. He was born on May 18, 1964 in Alexander City to Leonard Cannie McKelvey and Lola Mae Haggerty McKelvey. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, hunting, and fishing. Rob loved to be around people and anyone who met him loved him and enjoyed being with him. He was a big jokester and was always smiling.
He is survived by his parents, Leonard and Lola McKelvey of Dadeville; brothers, Todd (Rita) McKelvey of Alexander City, John (Regina) McKelvey, and Greg McKelvey both of Dadeville; nephews, Chris (Millicent) McKelvey and Wesley Carter; Great Nephew, Jenzen McKelvey; Great Niece, Aspen Chaney; and by several aunt, uncles, and cousins.
