Dear Katie and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know Mr. Whitlock had a big influence on my older brothers' lives and he had an influence on mine as well since his daughter became such a good friend to me, and she could not have become who she is without him. Thinking of you all.
Uncle Ron was a very special man. His devotion to God never wavered. He will be greatly missed.
I met the family while I was teaching at ORU. I was impressed by his intelligence and charm. He was a gentleman and Christian scholar. His children are a living testimony of his greatness.
Dear Jeannenne, I am so sorry about Ron's death. I have never known a finer man. I always remember and cherish the time he and I went to Chicago to attend the Key Club Convention. Illness and other pressing problems prevent Sherry and I from coming to Lanett. Please know We Love You and your family. Russell and Sherry Benefield
