Mr Roger Dale Hepburn's Obituary
Mr. Roger Dale Hepburn passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Lake Martin Community Hospital. He was born on January 9, 1944, in East Tallassee, Alabama to Lonnie Maxon Hepburn and Jewel Estelle Hutchison Hepburn. He was an active member of Red Ridge United Methodist Church.
Roger proudly served his country beginning with two years in the National Guard and 25 years in the United States Air Force. He served in the Vietnam War receiving the Vietnam Service Medal as well as Air Force Commendation Medal and Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ella Lorraine Hepburn; children, Gary Lamar (Gena) Hepburn, Michael (Edith) Hepburn, Evelyn McCormick, James Dale (Brittney) Hepburn; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and brother, Lonnie (Becky) Hepburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother.
