Mrs. Roxann Prather's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Roxann Prather, 68, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 2:30 pm at the Poplar Spring Methodist Church. Bro. Ray Dunn and Bro. Norman Strickling will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm at Poplar Spring Methodist Church.
Mrs. Prather passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her residence. She was born on December 29, 1951 in Langdale, Alabama to Ira Pike and Wynell Caldwell Pike. She was a member of Poplar Springs Methodist Church. Roxann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, gardening. cooking and sewing.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dan Prather of Dadeville; daughters, Marie Garrett, Dana Bishop (Justin); grandchildren, Kelsie Sims (Bubba), Ashley Stroud, Jamie Stroud, Cameron Bishop, Karlee Bishop, Carter Bishop; great-grandchildren, Sierra McCormick, Kayden McCormick, Zoey Sims, River Sims; sisters, Debra Pike (Jimmy), Tammy Spraggins and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Bolan; parents and sisters, Shirley Anderson and Connie Sue "Susie" Spivey.
