Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" Carlene Johnson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Sandy Johnson, 55, of Jackson's Gap, Alabama, will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Sandra Carlene Wise Johnson, or "Sandy" as she was known by family and friends, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Born on November 10, 1969, she was the daughter of Mr. Perry Wise, Jr. and Mrs. Pauline Bishop Wise. Sandy was a talented seamstress and worked for several textile plants including 12 years at Russell Corporation. She was a spirited and feisty personality with a heart of gold and fierce loyalty to the ones she loved. Her life was led with love, tenacity, and complete honesty. In the words of her family, "what came up, came out." Sandy believed in spoiling her grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Granny," and made sure to do it often. She found joy in horseback riding and scoping out a good yard sale. Sandy was a loving wife, mama, granny, sister, and friend that will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Johnson; sons, Allen Kittrell, Derek (Hannah) Johnson; grandchildren, Landon Wilson, Ethan Adcox, Allie Kittrell, Luke Tapley, Ashton Kittrell, Marcus Johnson, Khylee Johnson; sister, Sue (Bobby) Davini; brother, Andrew (Tabatha) Wise; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd Johnson; and sister-in-law, Marsha Wise.
