Ms. Sarah Frances Henley's Obituary
Funeral service for Ms. Sarah Frances Henley, 72, of Alexander City, will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Clyde Coker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eagle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Ms. Henley passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Russell Medical Center. She was born on October 11, 1941 in Dadeville, AL to Hiram Grant Duck and Edna Alice Thomas Duck. She was a member of Elder Congregational Christian. She enjoyed writing poems and songs, gardening, doing yard work, and joking around. Ms. Henley also loved her cats and dogs but loved her family and friends most of all.
She is survived by her son, Mickey Cleon Peoples; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Margret A. White (Johnny) of Dadeville; brothers, William R. Duck (Ruby) of Alexander City and Aaron G. Duck (Jean) of Dadeville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
