Mr. Scotty Everett Fourtenbary's Obituary
Funeral Service for Scotty Everett Fourtenbary, 52, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Pastor Ronny Jennings will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Scotty passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Lake Martin Community Hospital. He was born on June 11, 1968 in Dadeville, Alabama to Bobby Fourtenbary and Judy Sexton Fourtenbary. Scotty loved his family dearly; especially his children. He was a 1986 graduate of Dadeville High School and a graduate of Mars Hill Bible College where he was a punter on the football team. Scotty was the dedicated local Dadeville Alfa Agent. He was a Deacon at New Covenant Church. Scotty was a member of the Dadeville Quarterback Club and the Dadeville Kiwanis Club. He had a passion for fishing, Alabama football, and being one of the voices of Dadeville High School Football on Kowaliga Country. Most of all Scotty was a people person, had a contagious smile, was a jokester, and loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Valarie Fourtenbary; daughter, Peyton Fourtenbary; son, Gunner Fourtenbary; father, Bobby Fourtenbary (Pam); sisters, Michele Kidwell, and Kayla Fourtenbary; brother, Kyle Fourtenbary; mother in law, Hazel Ingram; sister in law, Laura Arrington (Ray); brother in law, Benjie Ingram (Rachel); niece, Lauren Arrington, and nephews, Joshua Kidwell (Courtney), Luke Kidwell, and Matthew Arrington.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Fourtenbary and father in law, Harvey Ingram.

All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
