Funeral services for Shelia Ann Lightsey of Jackson's Gap, AL will be Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 3pm at the New Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Sammons, Dr. Bobby Railey and Rev. Ed Thomas officating. Burial will follow at the Old Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Lightsey will lie in state from 1pm until 3pm at the church. Mrs. Lightsey was born on October 18, 1956 and passed away September 5, 2013 at the age of 56. Mrs. Lightsey is survived by her husband John Thurman Lightsey of Jackson's Gap, two sons Jonathan Lightsey of Jackson's Gap, Daniel Lightsey of Jackson's Gap, one brother Gary (Judy) Speake of Alexander City, one sister Karen (Danny) Luker of Alexander City, mother Norma Speake of Alexander City, two grandchildren Makinna Bree Lightsey and Johnathan Cole Lightsey. Mrs Lightsey was preceded in death by her father Euther Speake and a daughter Leigh Anne Lightsey. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 5pm until 7pm at Langley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to the March of Dimes birth defects in memory of Leigh Anne Lightsey.
