Shelia was a beacon of love and generosity throughout her life. She graduated from Dadeville High School and went on to serve as the dedicated Office Manager for Daniel Oil Company, where her sharp wit and caring nature made her a beloved figure. Her commitment to her community was unwavering; she was an active member of Camp Hill Baptist Church, contributing to the WMU, and also attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. A nurturing soul, Shelia cherished the time she spent operating a daycare, where she was affectionately known as a second mother to many. Her loving nature extended to her own family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored with every fiber of her being.
Shelia's pride in her family was immense, particularly for her husband, Melvin, who set an inspiring example by graduating with a degree in Veterinary Science from Auburn University with an impressive 4.2 GPA at the age of 54. Her support for his achievements was unwavering, and their shared accomplishments were a source of great joy.
She is survived by her loving son, James "Jamey" Melvin (Becky) Moore II; her son, Jarred Heath Moore; her grandchildren, Connor Moore, Hayden Helms, and Haley (Bradley) Bauer; her great-grandchildren, Greyson Bauer and Rylan Rose Bauer; sister, Sharon (Joe Mac) Huey; so many nieces, nephews and cousins, aunts and other family members that loved “SheShe” greatly.
