Graveside Service for Mrs. Sherby H. Lassiter, 81, of Dadeville, will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. Rev. Jamie Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lassiter passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her residence. She was born on April 2, 1937 in Chambers County, Alabama to Arnold Hinkle and Mary Sanders Hinkle. She loved her family dearly. She was Vice President of Operations of Shannon, Strobel, and Weaver. She always helped others anytime she could and enjoyed making sure everyone didn’t go away hungry. She enjoyed working, Lake Martin, and fishing.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Bunn, and Curtis Bunn; brother, Danny Hinkle; grandchildren, Phillip Bunn, Davey Bunn, Carrie Holt, and Kaylyn Bunn; six great grandchildren; and a step daughter, Leslie Lassiter Fuller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Lassiter; father, Arnold Hinkle; mother, Mary Sanders Hinkle; and a sister, Kay Hinkle Randolph.
