Mrs. Sherry Sheree Satterwhite's Obituary
Mrs. Sherry Sheree Shealy Satterwhite passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Bethany House in Auburn. Born on November 4, 1956 in LaFayette, Alabama, she was the daughter of Mr. Patrick W. Shealy, Jr. and Mrs. Grace Warren Shealy. Sherry worked as an accountant for many years with PCA and was a faithful member of Restoration Church. She found joy in crafting jewelry and volunteering at the Red Cross with her daughter. Her beautiful soul and heart of gold made her the one to call if you ever needed a loyal friend by your side. Sherry took pride in the work that she did in the service of others and would do anything for anyone. There's no doubt that Sherry loved life, but above all she loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. Sherry was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and the best sister ever. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Sherry is survived by her daughter, Cassandra (Kevin) Fortenbery; grandchildren, Atticus and Alexandria Fortenbery; sisters, Donna Ward, Robin Adams, Tina Santiago (Tommy Brooks); nephew, Jason (Jessica) Ward; nieces, Brandi Capes, Kayla (David) Garner; great-nieces, Serena Capes, Ella Grace Garner, Peyton Raye Garner; great-nephew, Jonah Ward; and best friends who were more like sisters, Marsha Thrift, Robin Armstrong, and Nancy Shields.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd J. Bondurant; mother, Grace W. Shealy; father, Patrick W. Shealy, Jr.; sister, Patsy Phelps; brothers-in-law, Louis Ward, Larry Adams, and Jose Santiago.
A private service will be held at a later date.
