Ms. Shirley Davis Garrett's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Shirley Davis Garrett, 80, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Dadeville First Baptist Church. Dr. Ben Hayes and Clint McKelvey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Dadeville First Baptist Church.
Ms. Garrett passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at her residence. She was born on March 11, 1941 in Dadeville, Alabama to Dewey Carlisle and Carrie Abbett Carlisle. Ms. Garrett loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church. Ms. Garrett enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, gardening, and playing cards. She also loved her three dogs, Justice, Coco, and Lady.
She is survived by her sons, Wade C. Davis, Wendell H. Davis, James Sidney Davis, Oliver Aaron (Kira), and Mitchell Aaron (Madeline); grandchildren, Tyler Davis (Taylor), Dylan Davis, Rebecca Davis, Marley Davis, Charlie Aaron, Lolly Aaron, and Elizabeth Aaron; great-grandchildren, Lynlee Davis and Amelia Davis; grandchild on the way, Mia Aaron; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Wade Davis and Milton Garrett; daughter in law, Tammi Davis; and parents.
