I didn't grow up in Union...I married into the community when Ronnie and I got married. We have been married 47 years, so I have heard the stories and know so many of the Union people, that I feel like part of the family. It is a special community, a close-knit community made up of wonderful people. Having said that, I have heard Steve stories for years. They are the kind of stories that make you laugh out loud, or at least give a broad smile. I knew Steve a little from being in the community and being around Mrs. Louise. He always greeted me with the warmest smile, the nicest cheerful greeting, always asked about Ronnie, always made me feel like he was glad to see me. He was the kind of person that just made you happy to be around him! He was a person that just carried fun around in his pocket! Gone too soon! He will be missed by so many. I send his family love from Ronnie and me. Sharon, we will be praying for you and your family. Lean on your family, your church, and friends. Eagle Creek is a community like Union, full of loving people that feel like one great big family. You have so many people that love you. Let them help you now and in the days to come. May God bless you with a peace that you can't find anywhere else.
