Mr. Steven Kyle "Steve" Greer, Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Steven Kyle "Steve" Greer, Sr., 58, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Monday, June 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Ricky Pratt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Greer, Sr. passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his residence. He was born on September 13, 1960 in Alexander City, Alabama to Clyde Preston Greer and Mary Evelyn Railey Greer. Steve enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed helping with youth sports in Dadeville. Steve was happiest when he was with his family and especially loved his grandson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cody Johnson (J.D.) of Camp Hill; sons, Steven Kyle Greer, Jr. (Tori) of Alexander City, Christian Lee Greer of Dadeville and Clyde Austin Greer (Bhrody) of Camp Hill; grandson, Cruize Greer; companion, Sandra Greer of Dadeville; sister, Janis Yarbrough of Dadeville; nieces, Debbie Floyd (J.D.) of Dadeville and Nichole Yother of Dadeville; nephew, Tommy Yarbrough of Dadeville; great nephews, Tyler, Corbin, Sawyer and Nolan; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Little Greer; daughter, Samantha Nicole Greer; and son, James David Greer.
