Mrs. Sue Baker's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Annie Sue Patterson Baker, 76, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Rod Siggers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Sue passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Dadeville Healthcare Center. She was born on November 4, 1946 in Dadeville, Alabama to Voncile Patterson and Helen Monroe Patterson. She enjoyed gardening, watching her Soap Operas, and loved life in general. Sue was a BIG fan of Alabama football. She was affectionately known by her family as "Granny Sue."
Sue is survived by her daughters, Dana (Kerry) Williams, Diane (Larry) Slettvett; sons, Jeffrey Lee Baker, Dutchie (Melissa) Baker; grandchildren, Kelsey Baker, Aiden Baker, Tyler Baker, Darciss Walker, Wesley Brown; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Micky (Vicke) Patterson; sisters, Jessie Mae Patterson, Betty (Ray) Benton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas E. Baker; daughter, Patty Judd; parents, Voncile and Helen Patterson; brothers, Billy W. Patterson, John L. Patterson, Willie Joe Patterson; and sister, Margie Patterson.
