Funeral Service for Miss Tara Jewel Robertson, 18, of Camp Hill, Alabama, will be Monday, February 25, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. David Waldrop will officiate. Burial will follow in the Roxana Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Miss Robertson passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on October 6, 2000 in Opelika, Alabama to Ricky Robertson and Melessia Custer. She was a member of Auburn Opelika Metro SDA Church. Tara was the sunshine in many people’s lives. She was beautiful and always lit up a room with her presence. She had a special gift of making people laugh. She loved reading, art, animals and fun times with family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her father, Ricky Robertson (Kristy); mother, Melessia Custer; siblings, Kaylee Robertson, Jason Clark, Liberty Hatcher; grandparents, Mark and Ramona Davis, grandfather, Wayne Robertson; grandparents, Edward and Jeanenne Durham; grandfather, Chuck Custer; great-grandmothers, Ann Robertson, Pat Hillyer; uncles and aunts, Timothy McDonald, Candy Smith (Bobby), Shaina Scott (Tyler), Jeremy Robertson (Kayla), Katherine Davis, Briana Sherrer (Robert), Fran Hill (Matt), Patricia Brown, Mary Duncan; numerous other aunts and uncles; cousins, Matthew, Victoria and Valorie Hill, Michael and Scarlett Scott, Mason Robertson, Paige Smith and numerous other cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Go Fund Me account that has been set up for the funeral expense of Miss Tara.
