I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Pitts passing. She was a very special lady. She was always an inspiration to me. She was a blessing to me.
Thelma and I shared many conversations about life, family, and God. She shared wisdom from her experience of living in many different places from small towns to exotic countries. I will always cherish those conversations. We were bridge partners for the duplicate bridge club in Still Waters. She was a wonderful bridge player. What I will remember most about Thelma was that she epitomized the phrase “southern lady”. She was kind to everyone and she loved to entertain in her lovely home. I love her and will miss her very much.

We are so sad to hear about Thelma’s passing. She was such a great lady, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Katherine and Thelma remained good friends even after she moved to Dadeville. They kept up with each other and reminisced over good golf and fun times. We are Praying for comfort for the family.

I never met Mrs. Pitts in person, but getting to know her sons Ron, Rusty, & Steve I quickly found out what a wonderful mother, grand mother & great grandmother she was. I heard numerious stories that proved her love and affection for them all. She & her husband instilled admirable values in their children, which carried on into their families. Excellent job Mrs. Pitts. Rest in peace, life well lived.
