Mr. Tilford Lavern Floyd's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Tilford Lavern Floyd, 84, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Floyd, Rev. Charlie Horton and Dusty Floyd will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Floyd passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born on December 20, 1937 in London, Kentucky to Arthur Floyd and Nellie Arthur Floyd. Mr. Floyd loved his family dearly. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a Sunday School teacher at Calvary Baptist Church. He also enjoyed his horses, wagons, and being on his tractors.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Fay Floyd; sons, Daniel Floyd (Debbie), Dennis Floyd (Elaine) and Dusty Floyd (Summer); granddaughters, Ashley Floyd, Brooklyn Floyd, Cheyenne Floyd, Ansley Floyd and Fallon Floyd; grandsons, Tyler Floyd, David Floyd (Kearstin), Corbin Floyd and Anderson Floyd (Caroline); great-granddaughters, Taylor, Bayleigh, Jaylynn, Raelynn, Katherine, Paisley, and Kysleigh; great-grandsons, Grayson, Kolston, Beckham, and Beau; sister, Frances Baxter (Rich); brother, Winford Floyd (Barbara); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Lavern Floyd (Kathy); granddaughter, Katherine Floyd; parents; sisters, Mary Ethel Floyd, Lois Bunch, Lenore Durham and Ona Mae York; and brothers, Owen Edward Floyd, Lewis Franklin Floyd and Rondal Clayton Floyd.
