Mr. Troy Michael Cruz's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mr. Troy Michael Cruz, 45, of Jackson’s Gap, Alabama will be Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Jackson's Gap Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Horton will officiate.
Mr. Cruz passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at East Alabama Medical Center. He was born on March 8, 1977 in Key West, Florida to Tony Cruz and Deannie Shuler Cruz. He was a member of Jackson's Gap Baptist Church. Troy loved helping others and being a public servant. He worked for Radio Shack in Alexander City for 20 years, a member of Jackson’s Gap Fire Department, was Driver for Ranburne Lifeline EMS, and for Tallapoosa EMS for 15 years. Troy enjoyed working with electronics and helping put communication and lights in emergency vehicles for Jackson’s Gap.
He is survived by his sons, Troy “T.J.” Cruz, Jr. and Seth Cruz; daughter, Macayla Cruz; mother, Deannie Cruz; brother, Tony Cruz; and sister, Paula Del Valle.
He was preceded in death by his father.
