Mrs. Twylia Copous Clanton's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Twylia Copous Clanton, 64, of Camp Hill, Alabama, will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Kendrick, Rev. Terry Herron and Rev. Jeff Hardin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Camp Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clanton passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on April 14, 1955 in Lafayette, Alabama to Doug Copous and Nell Waites Copous. She loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren. Twylia also loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Lake Martin Baptist Church. Twylia also enjoyed horses and dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Pete Clanton; daughters, Rachel S. Clanton and Courtney C. Murchison (Chad); grandchildren, Olivia Nicole Murchison and Luke Murchison; sisters, Sharon Huey (Joe Mac) and Shelia Moore (Melvin) and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dwayne Copous.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Hill Baptist Church Playground Fund, PO Box 543, Camp Hill, Alabama 36850.
