My sister Vera was helpful to other people and did her best to make everyone feel good. Always doing her best and always looking out for others. She had the cleanest house I have ever been in and made the best canned food. A wonderful southern cook with the best thoughtfulness to share her canning and cooking with others. Her church potluck dishes always sounded so good when she would tell me what she was cooking. She loved her children and grandchildren and had moved back to Alabama to be closer to them. It may not have been the way she would have liked it to be, but her main wish was being able to be buried close to them. She is in a good place now and I know she is looking down and singing a beautiful song with our dad playing his guitar. Rest in peace my sister and until I see you again I will hold you in my heart.
