Mrs. Wanda Ann Karr Moore's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mrs. Wanda Ann Moore, 62, of Dadeville, will be Friday, September 2, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Clint McKelvey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at her residence. She was born on November 24, 1959, in Youngstown, Ohio to Hilton Karr and Mary Ann Yuhas Karr. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was co-owner and operator of Moore's Hardware. She enjoyed the cabin on the lake, fishing, boating, and spending time with family. Mrs. Moore was a big Auburn fan and loved Christmas time. Her time outdoors was spent flower gardening and hunting arrowheads.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Steve Moore of Dadeville; son, Adam Moore (Jessica) of Tallassee; daughter, Susan Grizzard (Wes) of Lagrange; her grandchildren that she loved dearly, Elliott Moore, Allie Moore, Lucy Moore, Colie Wyatt Atkinson, Wyatt Grizzard, and Will Grizzard; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama 4145 Carmichael Road Montgomery, AL 36106, to your church, or favorite charity.
