Mr. William Grady Fuller's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. William Grady Fuller, 76, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Freddie Senn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Fuller passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1946 in Dadeville, Alabama to John Grady and Annie Belle Bailey Fuller. William loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than life. Jax was his sidekick because he loved pawpaw’s equipment and going to work with him. Mr. Fuller was owner and operator of William Fuller Backhoe for over 50 years. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, eating ribs with his friends, and he loved all the kids playing pranks on him.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia Durbin Fuller; daughters, Michelle Blair (Kenneth) of Dadeville, Alabama and Melissa Lawson (Dusty) of Alexander City, Alabama; grandchildren, William Wright, Megan Wright, Parker Blair, Logan Blair (Hannah), Coby Lawson (Nija), and Ashley Clampitt; great-grandchildren, Adam Blair, Evelyn Blair, River Davis, Jaxton Blair, Kenzo Lawson, Kaiden Sandlin, and Bryson Clampitt; sister, Jane French; uncle, Aubrey Bailey, several nieces and nephews; many young adults and kids that grew up in our home that dearly loved papaw and memaw; and special friends, Jerry Babb, Jonathan Tidwell, Randy Camp, Don Kelley, Wayne Barber, Barry Pitts, Edward Hall; and many more that he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne Fuller.
