Graveside Service for Mr. William Jeffrey “Jeff” Whatley, 64, of Tallassee, will be Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Dadeville City Cemetery. Bro. Miles Crouch will officiate.
Mr. Whatley passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. He was born on November 13, 1957 in Dadeville, Alabama to W.C. and Patricia Barbour Whatley. Jeff loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He was always a hard worker and enjoyed being around his coworkers. Jeff loved reading the Holy Bible, enjoyed taking care of his animals, gardening, flowers, and was available to always lend a helping hand. He also was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan “Roll Tide”.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Whatley; daughter, Holly Whatley; sons, Adam Whatley (Venessa) and Robert Hill, III; daughter, Amber Haney (Todd); fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Patricia Barbour; sisters, Cindy Hathorn (Buddy), Debra Brown (Roger) and Lisa Chapman; and brothers, John Whatley (Christine) and Charles Webster (Margaret).
He was preceded in death by his father; stepmother, Jessie Lou Whatley; and grandparents.
