Funeral services for Willie Joe Clanton of Dadeville will be at Langley Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, June 21, 2013, at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Camp Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Hardin will officiate. Visitation from 5 PM- 7 PM Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Langley Funeral Home. Mr. Clanton was born on November 19, 1922, to the late Willie Claude and Addie Mae Underwood Clanton and passed away on June 17, 2013, at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his son Mike Clanton. He served in the Navy for four years. He is survived by wife Winnie C. Clanton of Dadeville, AL; son Joseph Dana (Helen) Clanton of Waverly, AL; son John Timothy (Melinda) Clanton of Dadeville, AL; daughter-in-law Mary Leigh Clanton of Alexander City, AL; brother Ted (Pauline) Clanton of Dadeville, AL; brother Willie Claude (Annette) Clanton, Jr. of Daviston, AL; sister Inez (Ben) Henderson of Auburn, AL; grandsons Joshua (Gina) Clanton, Chase Clanton, Sean Clanton; granddaughters Kelley Clanton, Amanda (Landon) Cash, Whitney Clanton; great grandchildren Kaden Cash, Addison Clanton and Jacob Clanton.
