Funeral Service for Mr. James E. (Bud) Hamby, 81, of Jackson's Gap, Alabama, will be Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Pemberton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville C Read Obituary
I would Ike to offer my deepest condolences to your family. In times like these the Bible have proven to be of great comfort. The Bible book of John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 holds out the hope of a resurrection for our loved ones who have past away; and Joshua chapter 21 verse 45 lets us know that God fulfills his promises. I hope that these Bible verses will bring your family some comfort.
My heart goes out to you, Prencella and all of Buds family, But God reached down and brought one of his best angles home to be with Him. It left us with a feeling of loss, a loss that no one else can fill. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
Jim and I always enjoyed spending time with you and Bud, and we both loved Bud's sense of humor.
I'm so sorry Prencella, that issues at home prevented me from being there with you and I regret that I was unable to be there to tell Bud goodby. But I will be arriving in just a few days to be with you for awhile.
