Emory was a true friend and loving person. He was definitely one of a kind and loved his family and would do anything for them. As it's said God only takes the best. Sending love, hugs and prayers to the family. 💕🙏💕
Emory will be missed by many. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone. The love he and Diana shared was obvious to everyone around them. I'm so very thankful we were able to see him at the class reunion. Praying for God's comfort, peace and strength for Diana and the family. Lean on those around you and hold all your precious memories in your heart.
We love ya'll. Tim and Donna Giles

Emory was much like a tree: Deep rooted in his love for family and friends, and providing refuge for any one who needed it. He will be missed!
Praying 🙏 for 🙏 a peace and comfort that only God Almighty can give at this moment 🙏
Emory was my best friend at Reeltown High School Junior High - High School. We almost always sat together with his last name beginning with a D and mine with an E. As we journied through school we shared our secrets, our ups and downs, and from time to time got into mischief. I loved him, not in a romantic sense but in the best friend a person could have sense.
Emory never once said a negative thing about a single person, and I don't recall anyone saying anything negative about him. He was just himself, and respected for that
He loved his wife Diana, whom he introduced us all to in our senior year of High School, and we were privileged to have her in our graduating class. They had been together and unseperable for over 40 years, and married for 39.
My deepest condolences to his beautiful family, whom I know he loved so very much. It was a privilege to call him friend.
Sending prayers to all of you. So very sorry
