I worked with Mrs. Hamilton at McDonnell Elementary many years she was a friend and wonderful Teacher
I met Janice at a friends wedding. She never met a stranger and made anyone she met feel like you had known her forever. She had a loving heart and will be greatly missed. I wish I had met you sooner. RiP Janice. Fly high with the Angels.
I have many fond memories of growing up with Janice. Her mother and my mother
were sisters. We usually spent Thanksgiving and Christmas together but my fondest
memories were at the lake. My mother and uncle owned a place at Lake Martin so
every summer we were boating, waterskiing and just chilling on the deck. I can still
remember the smell of Pond's cold cream and the music from the 60's that she played
on her radio. She helped teach me how to waterski and drove the boat for me.
After we got older, Janice and her husband Don had a home on Lake Martin. We
spent many wonderful times going for boat rides and just relaxing and enjoying each
other's company. Janice and Don were excellent hosts and knew how to make people
feel welcome and at home.
I will miss you, Jan. You were more like a big sister than a cousin to me.
